Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday is set to hold a series of bilateral meetings with the leaders of three countries – US, Japan, Australia – to discuss matters related to the ‘quadrilateral’ strategic alliance.
It has been learnt that a meeting between officials of the four countries was conducted on Sunday, just hours before the Indian prime minister and US President Donald Trump landed in Manila. The discussion will take place on the sidelines of the 50th edition of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
